Terms and Conditions
Last updated: May 2026 · Effective: June 2026
These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Wawe AI platform, including all research workspaces, APIs, and associated services ("Service"), operated by Wawe AI ("Wawe", "we", "us", "our"). By registering for or using our Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. Eligibility and Access
The Service is currently in a closed pilot. Access is granted on a per-request basis and is subject to approval by the Wawe AI team. You must be at least 18 years old and represent a legitimate research institution, company, or individual researcher to request access.
- Account responsibility — You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You may not share your account with others.
- One account per user — Each researcher must create their own account. Bulk or automated account creation is prohibited.
- Accurate information — You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information when registering.
2. Permitted Use
The Service may be used solely for lawful scientific research, drug discovery, and related computational biology and chemistry purposes. You agree to use the platform in accordance with all applicable laws and regulations.
You may:
- Use the research workspaces to run computational biology and chemistry queries.
- Export and use results for internal research, publications, and reports.
- Integrate API results into your own research pipelines under the terms of your access tier.
- Share results with collaborators who are also approved Wawe AI users.
You may not:
- Resell, sublicense, or commercially redistribute the Service or its outputs without written consent.
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or systematically extract the underlying models or tool infrastructure.
- Use the Service for any military, weapons, or dual-use activities that could cause harm.
- Attempt to circumvent rate limits, access controls, or security measures.
- Upload or process data that you do not have the rights to use.
3. Intellectual Property
All platform software, models, tool infrastructure, and branding are the exclusive property of Wawe AI and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
- Your data — You retain ownership of all data, queries, and research content you submit to the platform.
- Your outputs — Research outputs generated by the platform in response to your queries belong to you, subject to any third-party tool licenses (e.g. AlphaFold, PDB data).
- Our platform — The Service itself, including all underlying models, APIs, and interfaces, remains the property of Wawe AI.
4. Data and Privacy
Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. By using the Service, you consent to our data practices as described therein. We do not sell your data to third parties.
- Query logs — We retain query and session logs for service improvement, debugging, and safety monitoring. Logs are anonymised after 90 days.
- Research data — We do not train our models on your submitted research data without explicit, separate written consent.
- Third-party tools — Some tools (e.g. AlphaFold API, PubChem, UniProt) are operated by third parties. Their respective terms and data policies apply.
5. Usage Limits and Fair Use
During the pilot period, usage is subject to per-user limits including weekly API credit quotas and GPU compute time. Limits may be adjusted based on your access tier. Abuse of the Service or systematic attempts to exceed limits may result in account suspension.
6. Availability and Service Changes
We aim to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service is provided "as is" during the pilot period. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service or any feature at any time, with reasonable notice where possible.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify registered users of material changes via email. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
7. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
The Service is a computational research tool. All outputs are for informational and research purposes only. They do not constitute medical advice, clinical recommendations, or regulatory submissions. You are solely responsible for validating any computational results before relying on them for real-world decisions.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Wawe AI shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service, including loss of research data, inaccurate computational results, or service interruptions.
8. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms, misuse of the platform, or at our sole discretion during the pilot period. You may also delete your account at any time by contacting us at support@waweai.com.
9. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts. We will always attempt to resolve disputes amicably before formal proceedings.
10. Contact
If you have questions about these Terms, please contact us at legal@waweai.com or write to us at Wawe AI, Research Platform Division.
